Terms & Acceptable Use

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a BotBoard account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password and organization invite codes private.

Organization content

Team evaluations, notes, events, rosters, and pick lists are shared with authorized members of the same organization. Submit only information that is relevant to robotics scouting and that you are permitted to share.

Acceptable use

Do not use BotBoard to harass, threaten, bully, impersonate, or target another person. Do not submit hateful, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, privacy-invasive, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable content. Do not misuse another person’s identity, email address, account, or organization access.

Moderation

Users may report inappropriate evaluations or organization members from within BotBoard. BotBoard may review reports, void content, restrict organization access, suspend accounts, or preserve relevant safety records when reasonably necessary to protect users and enforce these Terms.

Organization administration

Organization owners and admins manage invitations, member roles, and organization access. They must use those controls responsibly. Removing a member from an organization does not delete that person’s Firebase account.

Service availability

BotBoard is provided for robotics scouting and beta evaluation. Features may change, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Do not rely on BotBoard as the only copy of information required for safety, eligibility, or official competition records.

Termination and deletion

You may delete your account in the app or submit an external account deletion request. BotBoard may restrict access for violations of these Terms. Data handling after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
