Information BotBoard stores

BotBoard stores the name and email address associated with your account, your organization memberships and team assignments, and content you create such as team evaluations, notes, events, pick-list rankings, and safety reports. If you request beta access or use the external deletion form, BotBoard stores the information you submit so the request can be reviewed and completed.

How information is used

This information is used only to provide authentication, organization collaboration, scouting history, alliance-selection features, and beta access. The BotBoard website records aggregate page views and beta-access button interactions without cookies, device identifiers, or cross-site tracking. BotBoard does not sell personal information, serve advertising, or track users across other companies' apps or websites.

Sharing and service providers

Organization content is visible to authorized members of the same BotBoard organization. BotBoard uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database storage, server functions, hosting, aggregate website measurement, and operational logs. Google processes information as a service provider.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account from Workspace > Session > Delete Account or submit an external account deletion request. Account identity, memberships, and roster assignments are removed. Historical evaluations and safety records may remain with their organization for integrity and enforcement, but account identity is anonymized where appropriate. Sole organization owners must transfer ownership or delete the organization first. Beta access requests are retained for up to 12 months. Completed external deletion requests are removed when they are no longer needed.

Security and age eligibility

BotBoard uses Firebase security controls and encrypted network connections. BotBoard accounts are intended for people age 13 and older. Organization owners are responsible for inviting appropriate members and obtaining any additional consent required by their school or local law.
